** The Grammys 2014** NIGERIAN BORN FEMI KUTI DID NOT WIN IN THE JUST CONCLUDED GRAMMY AWARD AFTER BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE 4TH TIME;

It’s the 4th time he’s been nominated for the Grammys and unfortunately, the 4th time he loses out of the prestigious award.
He lost the award to a tie between winners Gipsy Kingsand Ladysmith BlackMambazoand was presented by veteran singer Cynthia Lauper prior to theactual Grammy Award ceremony.The Nigerian Afrobeat singer, saxophonist and son of the legendary Fela Kuti was nominated in the ‘World Music’ category for his album ‘No Place For My Dream‘ album.

He was previously nominated in 2003, 2010, and in 2011.
No worries though, a lot of artists will kill to be nominated 4 times, and he’s still a winner in our book
